My Story

Nonfabricated

I was born in Massachusetts and played sports all my life. I grew up in an apartment complex where I was blessed to be around other kids both younger and older than me. We would ride bikes, play sports, fight and build forts. My love for sports, creativity, nature, and views on life are deeply rooted from those experiences.

I started playing football in the second grade and would go on to play division 1 football at UMASS. I started running track in high school (was the earliest I could officially be apart of a sports team for track) and went on to set numerous school records. I played lacrosse off and on throughout my middle school and junior high school years, mostly hitting kids and sprinting down the field with the ball.

The coaching I recieved at UMASS and experiencing the Covid era, made me realize what I really wanted to do with my life. God finalized those thoughts. I made one of the hardest decisions of my life when I chose to quit football and transfer to another school. I made this decision because I knew football wasn't my only purpose in life, yet, it was what everyone else expected it to be. I made this decision to fully focus on and build Aglets. I turned in to what I felt was a nobody. From an athlete, to a nobody. No one seemed to care about me anymore once I stopped playing football. From signing autographs, to working at Amazon as a delivery driver. I had this HUGE insecurity that people would look down at me now and be disappointed in me for not being in the NFL. But, I understood it was going to be a long term game. I learned there is nothing wrong with working a regular job as long as you dont quit on your vision, and thats exactly what I've done.

I started Aglets because I believe one of the most important things in life is to be yourself and not mold to the opinions of others. Most people spend their entire lifetime trying to impress and live up to the standards of others, missing out on their true purpose. Aglets stand as a reminder to be who you are and stand firm in your vision and what you believe in. If you've been looking for a "spark" in your life, I hope my story can be that!
